The Canadian Mental Health Association serves a diverse group of individuals throughout Wellington and Dufferin Counties. The centers for Mental Health provide resources to the community at large, individuals with mental health issues and their families including information, education, referral and support services

This is a community-based clinic providing services to those who have serious mental health problems. They provide counselling and referral services and programs to adults ages 18 & up around the community.

DCAFS is multi service agency. The agency provides:
1. Children's Mental Health services, for ages birth to 18, including
individual, child and family counselling , groups, crisis support, sexual
assault treatment for victims
2. Child Protection Services, 0 -16 yr. ( C.A.S.)
3. Developmental Support Services including Early Childhood Development
program, Special Services at Home, Family Relief and case management
support for children and adults with developmental concerns.
4.Headwaters Family Visit Centre offering supervised access for separated
/ divorced families.

Building Strong Families Together

The Dufferin Parent Support Network is a non-profit group of parents with representatives of community service agencies. We help Dufferin parents find the information, support and education they need to build strong, healthy families in our community. Volunteer opportunities are also available through Dufferin Parent Support Network. Volunteers are welcome to facilitate programs, organize a parenting event at their school or work, be a member of the Board or participate in one of our committees.

Family Transition Place sees violence against women as a very serious social, and health problem. They are dedicated to stopping this violence through a number of activities and services, such as shelter, legal information and support, individual counselling, enforcement and protocol initiatives, education and prevention, and other actions for legislative and social change.

Campus Life is a relational outreach to high school students. Through many after school clubs, trips and events we build relationships with teens. Campus Life is active in providing lunch- time support to youth in the High Schools in Dufferin County.

The mandate of MYAC is to provide advice and make recommendations to the Mayor and Council on matters that pertain to Youth. Their goals include participating actively in community events and activities in Orangeville, and through their involvement foster a positive image for all young people. As a part of the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Health Unit the Sexual Health Clinic is dedicated to promoting, preventing, and protecting the health of our community. This clinic offers a variety of services such as: advice, choice counselling, pregnancy tests, birth control, anonymous HIV testing, STD testing/treatment, needle exchange and much more for the protection of your sexual health.

The Door youth centre is a relational outreach aimed at high risk or marginalized youth. Through many programs, drop in nights, and teaming up with other community services, Youth Guidance (the door) cares for teens as whole people, physical, social, and spiritual.
